The Mediterranean Collection
The Mediterranean has become an endless source of inspiration for my work. Its changing light, dramatic coastline and quiet coves offer far more than beautiful scenery—they evoke a sense of place that is both timeless and deeply personal.
Rather than reproducing a landscape exactly as it appears, I aim to capture the atmosphere that remains long after the moment has passed. Through layers of acrylic, oil and mixed media, I build textured surfaces using materials such as plaster, fabric, copper, clay and iron, allowing each painting to develop its own depth, character and history.

Mixed Media and Natural Materials
Texture plays a central role in my work.
Each painting is built through layers of acrylic, oil and mixed media, often incorporating natural materials such as sand, copper, clay, plaster, iron and fabric. These materials become part of the painting itself, creating surfaces that reflect the weathered character of the Mediterranean landscape.
Rather than hiding the process, I allow each layer to remain visible, giving every artwork a sense of history, depth and physical presence that changes with the light throughout the day.

My Creative Process
Every painting begins with observation rather than photography.
I spend time walking the coastline, studying changing tides, collecting textures and allowing the landscape to influence the direction of the work. Back in the studio, these memories evolve through multiple layers of paint and mixed media.
Many paintings develop over weeks or even months as surfaces are built, removed and reworked until the composition achieves a balance between abstraction and landscape.
No two paintings follow exactly the same path.
